Job Summary:
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving business growth through identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and implementing strategic initiatives to expand the company's market presence.
Essential Job Functions:
- Manage the territory and build a book of business to ensure branch (or branches) meet or exceed yearly budget targets.
- Actively hunt for new business within the territory.
- Build rapport and maintain strategic partnership with the client through an extensive and detailed understanding of the client's business, strategic direction, processes, and policies.
- Maintain close contact with the key principles at the account to ensure the highest level of client satisfaction possible.
- Identify customer's needs and deliver or manage expectations.
- Work closely with branch staff to ensure customer satisfaction
Responsibilities:
- Follow touch plan and use provided materials for prospecting new clients (includes maintaining a working list of targets)
- Maintain a 30-day pipeline of opportunities and statuses of where in the sales cycle that opportunity is.
- Work as a team with the branch manager to resolve any client issues.
- Build strong relationships with clients to maintain old business and to acquire new customers
- Acting as the client’s representative in a firm to ensure that their demands are met with a focus on improving the customer experience.
- Collecting and analyzing data concerning consumer behavior to understand changing needs.
- Arrange facility tours with new clients when needed.
- Discover and participate in local business networking.
- Build top-of-mind awareness through in-person visits, which foster a consultative relationship and increase business with the on-site client.
- Maintain close contact with the key principles at the account to ensure the highest level of client satisfaction possible.
- Stay up to date with the staffing industry and offer innovative, creative, and effective solutions for client success.
- Present business reviews and strategies to clients.
- Review all job descriptions with the Recruiting staff.
- Review open orders and any issues with Recruiting staff on a weekly basis.
- Input all job orders in Ultra Staff tracking system in cooperation with the Recruiting Coordinator or Branch Manager.
- Assist the Recruiting staff with any non-responsiveness from clients.
- Build top of mind awareness through in person visits, which should foster a consultative relationship.
- Facilitate timely and accurate communication from the client to the branch personnel.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Experience using a CRM system
- Experience with Microsoft suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
