Optimized Process Designs, LLC (OPD)is seeking a Planner/Scheduler for our Katy, TX headquarters. The Scheduler will be responsible for supporting all technical aspects of scheduling on an EPC project - from early development phase through commissioning and turnover.

Optimized Process Designs, LLC (OPD)is seeking a Planner/Scheduler for our Katy, TX headquarters. The Scheduler will be responsible for supporting all technical aspects of scheduling on an EPC project - from early development phase through commissioning and turnover.
What You Will Do
- Interface with internal and external clients, including owners, engineers, designers, and field crews to verify work plans.
- Develop, monitor, and maintain schedule for "life of construction project, startup and commissioning.
- Present/Lead schedule update meetings with project team
- Resource load/leveling activities within schedule
- Interact with all team members and contractors to assist with scope development, logistics and constraints
- Determine critical path items and communicate to execution team
- Provide schedule updates and analysis in meeting during execution
- Update schedule during execution to include scope change
- Coordinate project plan between contractors and management scope changes, engineering needs, etc.
- Generates, reviews and submits system reports to provide Project Managers, Construction Managers, and Customers with the information necessary to effectively understand and manage a project. Supports daily, weekly, and monthly project updates.
- Responsible for the development and accuracy of reports. Verifies consistency with previous reports to ensure compatibility and consistency.
- Ability to work independently to develop and maintain a full EPC schedule in P6 and in Microsoft Projects.
- Experience in collaboratively leading project planning and scheduling meetings with any variation of project team participants.
- Experience in EPC petrochemical, industrial/process, or oil & gas projects.
- Demonstrated skill in identifying, analyzing, and solving problems.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Ability to develop scope of work and schedule.
