Job is:
Under the supervision of the Principal, the Enrollment Outreach Specialist focuses on increasing the school’s visibility and enrollment through external community engagement, marketing, and event participation. This role is responsible for developing relationships with community partners, hosting events, and executing outreach strategies that align with the school’s mission.
Essential Functions include, but are not limited to the following:*
- Develop and implement outreach strategies to engage underserved populations and foster trust within the community.
- Represent the school at community events, fairs, and public gatherings to promote its programs.
- Build partnerships with community organizations, businesses, and other schools to generate leads and inquiries for enrollment.
- Host information sessions to inform prospective students and families about the school’s offerings.
- Monitor the effectiveness of outreach efforts and adjust strategies as needed to maximize impact.
- Maintain knowledge of the school’s mission and programs, effectively communicating their value to the community.
- Travel to attend and participate in recruitment events, maintaining flexibility for evening and weekend commitments.
- Collaborate with school leadership to identify barriers to enrollment and recommend solutions.
- Stay informed about trends and changes in education and recruitment strategies.
Knowledge, Skill and abilities Preferred:
- Strong interpersonal skills for relationship building with community partners.
- Public speaking and presentation skills to represent the school at events.
- Organizational and time management skills to coordinate multiple outreach efforts.
- High energy, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
- Bilingual skills preferred.
Education and Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in community outreach, marketing, or related fields.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, databases, and Google Suite.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Hourly Range:
$30.86 - $37.71 Depending on Experience
Location:
This position will support the entire OFY-D Charter, with the home center assigned based on the candidate's place of residence.
