Product Manager/Strategy 2-ProdDev

Job Duties: Participate in all software and/or hardware product development life cycle activities. Move software products through the software product development cycle from design and development to implementation, testing and/or marketing. Work as part of a team that acts as a central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Participate in and/or organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget. As a member of the product development division, define product specification and/or strategy. Gather and analyze information to define product specifications and review design specifications. Communicate product strategy and functionality. Initiate and foster relationships with other groups. Review product documentation and collateral. Ensure successful product releases based on corporate priorities. May telecommute. (385.30582)

 

Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology Management or related technical field. Position requires:

• Product Management tools: financial spreadsheets, web pages and confluence folders with product details, marketing collateral, PowerPoint (or similar) presentations;
• Leading discussions with user groups and infrastructure architects;
• Development and test of software solutions targeted to on-premises or cloud deployments;
• Launching and managing business performance of IT products;
  Creating software demonstrations and delivering to customers;
• Conducting market and technology research to document product requirements;
• Managing product lifecycle, from launch to retirement;
• Developing and executing product pricing, packaging, and positioning strategies.

US: Hiring Range: from $67,000 to $141,300 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
