Oral Arts is a full-service family owned and operated dental laboratory. We manufacture dental prostheses, such as crowns, bridges, implants, dentures, partials, orthodontic appliances, etc. and have an immediate need for an HR Administrator/Recruiter.
This position is responsible for providing administrative support to the Human Resources department and contributing to the efficient operation of HR processes, with a strong emphasis on recruitment. Description of responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Work closely with the HR team to understand job specifications and necessary technical skills required to fill open positions.
- Utilize job board platforms and sourcing tools available to identify, connect with, and screen potential candidates.
- Conduct in-depth prescreens with applicants and gain insight on work experience and to assess skill level.
- Present well-written summaries of prescreens to HR team and hiring managers for consideration and extend communication regularly with candidates β scheduling interviews, extending job offers, etc.
- Administer, track, and evaluate all onboarding, orientation, and new hire training activities.
- Organize and prepare orientation materials.
- Maintain and update employee records in the HR database.
- Assist in keeping documents scanned and updated in the HRIS system.
- Assist employees with HRIS functions and answer related questions.
- Coordinate employee engagement activities and events.
- Perform back-up duties and cover breaks and lunches for front desk Receptionist.
- Maintain confidentiality and a high level of business ethics.
- Participate in various projects as requested or assigned.

Required experience:
- High school diploma or GED equivalency required
- 1-2 years of experience in recruitment or Human Resources preferred, but not required
- Proven experience in an administrative role
- Working knowledge of desktop applications including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) required
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
