Orbital Engineering, Inc. is seeking an Administrative Assistant/Report Writer to support our Asset Integrity Department in Jewett, Texas. This is an on-site position at a major client in Jewett, TX and candidates must be able to work on-site Monday – Friday.

Orbital Engineering, Inc. is seeking an Administrative Assistant/Report Writer to support our Asset Integrity Department in Jewett, Texas. This is an on-site position at a major client in Jewett, TX and candidates must be able to work on-site Monday – Friday.
Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
- Provide administrative support to project managers and technical managers throughout the project life cycle
- Organize, prioritize, and maintain incoming inspection field documentation, photos, and reports
- Develop technical inspection reports using Orbital’s web-based inspection database
- Collaborate with inspectors when developing the technical inspection reports to ensure a quality report
- Prepare and edit professional documentation, spreadsheets, reports, presentations, and other correspondence
- Perform a wide range of tasks necessary to accomplish project goals such as obtaining drawing prints or document copies, assembling reports or specifications, and distributing documents both within and outside Orbital’s facilities
- Project set-up, project close-out, processing purchase orders, processing invoices, and working with project managers on other project related tasks
- Perform Administration Assistant duties to support management with client related tasks and per the Orbital Quality Management System (QMS)
- Assist in maintaining QMS compliance with project related files
- Working with internal and external stakeholders of projects
- Assist in preparing project deliverables and project status reports
- High School Diploma
- Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office suite
- Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Three years of administrative experience, preferably in the AEC industry
- Ability to work independently and contribute administrative support to teams
- Associate’s Degree
- Previous Deltek Vision or Vantagepoint experience
