(OFIT’s) primary service is to provide timely and reliable fiscal, administrative, and information technology services. As the WIIN Remediation Grant Coordinator you will coordinate a new grant from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The EPA is providing funds, $1.8 million to Oregon alone, to states to help school districts test their water fixtures for elevated levels of lead and then remediate those fixtures, either through replacement or other means.
The WIIN Remediation Grant Coordinator will implement the plan laid out in the grant application and align the implementation with grant requirements, state, and federal law around lead testing. You will be responsible for maintaining all records necessary to comply with federal and state reporting requirements. This position will also provide technical assistance to district grantees to ensure compliance with grant requirements.
Typical Duties Include:
Coordination of WIIN Remediation Grant:
- Create application, grant agreements and procurement and grant management system forms to track expenditures and remediations done to comply with grant and statutory requirements.
- Analyze requests for reimbursements to verify and track expenditures and monitor program budget in compliance with all requirements.
Program Service Delivery:
- Review grant applications to determine which eligible districts will be awarded funds.
- Develop and deliver communications plan to notify school districts of funding available and eligibility requirements
WIIN Grant Coordination:
- Coordinate grant activities with Healthy and Safe Schools Administrator to ensure alignment of WIIN Remediation grant with other state and federal grants in the Healthy and Safe Schools Program.
- Coordinate data collection with other Healthy and Safe Schools programs to ensure accurate data and reduction of burden on school district grantees.

Minimum Qualifications (Need to Have)
A Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, or a degree related to the agency program that demonstrates the capacity for the knowledge and skills;
OR
Any combination of experience or education equivalent to three years technical-level experience that typically supports the knowledge and skill requirements listed for the classification.
