Summary/Objective
We are currently looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our accounting team Under the direct supervision of our Director of Finance and HR. This position provides an array of Accounting support to our organization. This position involes the payment of company invoices and ensuring that vendors are paid accurately on time. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize and organize diversified workload, recommends changes in office practices or procedures.
This positions will heavily focus on invoices, budgeting, and cash management.
Please note this position is in person only. No remote tasks are available. We are located by Bridgeport Mall.
Essential Functions
- Enter and upload invoice to the system
- Match invoices to purchase orders
- Reach out to team for invoice approval
- Process invoice payments via physical check, e-checks, and credit card payments
- Track and advance the CMR
- Investigate and resolve outstanding invoices
- Statement reconciliation
- Maintain vendor records
- Process information requests from vendors
- Work with Accounting Manager to determine budgets and payment dates
- Allocate expenses to multiple divisions and/or subsidiaries
- Process payments for Oregon restoration Co and its subsidiaries
- Maintaining records
- Manage recurring payments

Work Environment and Physical Demands
This role requires working in close physical proximity to others indoors. It involves sitting and/or standing for extended periods.
Scheduling and dress code policy
This position is a full-time positions ranging from 32hrs to 40hrs. Due to the nature of our industry some overtime, after hours and weekends, while unlikely, may be required. The schedule for this position is Monday to Friday between the hours 7:00am to 5:00pm. Dress code is office casual.
