Job Summary
The Dean of Students is seeking an hourly Academic Wage: VETS-UP Outreach Coordinator. This is a part-time, 12-month, fixed-term position. Starting at 0.75 FTE through June 30, 2025 and 0.5 FTE July 1, 2025 through position end.
The VETS-UP Outreach Coordinator will play a crucial role in enhancing OSU’s outreach and engagement strategy for Veterans, particularly in the semiconductor industry. This position will be responsible for developing and executing an outreach plan to recruit Veterans into internships and programs, facilitating benefit and Veteran-specific resource coordination, and promoting wrap-around support services.

What You Will Need
- Bachelor’s degree in field relevant to the position
- Experience in outreach and engagement, particularly with Veteran communities.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with multiple departments and external partners.
- Proven ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with individuals from a variety of backgrounds and experiences
What We Would Like You to Have
- Knowledge of the semiconductor industry and its career opportunities is a plus.
- Previous experience working with remote/distance students and online learning.
- Previous experience working with adult and non-traditional student populations.
Working Conditions / Work Schedule
Office work with some travel for promotional events within the state of Oregon.
