Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors to maintain cleanliness throughout the facility.
• Conduct buffing and floor care to ensure surfaces are polished and well-maintained.
• Assist with residential painting as needed to enhance the aesthetic appeal of the premises.
• Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas by restocking supplies and ensuring hygiene standards are met.
• Carry out custodial duties such as emptying trash bins, cleaning windows, and dusting surfaces.
• Support industrial cleaning efforts by following safety protocols while using appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Respond promptly to any maintenance requests or issues reported by staff or management.
• Ensure that all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored after use.

Requirements

• Previous experience in custodial services or commercial cleaning is preferred.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and maintenance is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices is a plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Excellent time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks throughout the day.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, and move items as needed for cleaning tasks.
