Project Estimator

To drive continued success, we're seeking a full-time position for an experienced Project Estimator to join our team. This position is responsible for determining project costs and designing or drafting plans.

Essential Job Functions:

• Analyze project plans and technical drawings to gain a thorough understanding of the project.
• Manage and complete take-offs by listing and measuring the materials required for the project to calculate the cost to complete it.
• Prepare estimates by analyzing material costs, labor costs, and fabrication processes.
• Investigate and compile benchmarking data to support pricing assumptions and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Create and manage shop drawings using AutoCAD and other design software.
• Understand the manufacturing processes to create production drawings in AutoCAD for use internally.
• Project-relevant customer communication via phone and email is required to finalize project details.
• Learn and understand end-to-end processes and be a key contributor to project success.
• Support the project team in the design process.
• Meticulously review and check drawings against project scope to verify accuracy.
• Prioritize and self-manage pace of work to meet, or exceed deadlines.
• Innovate and solve technical problems as they arise.
• All other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience and Qualifications:

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
• Associate Degree or equivalent experience in drafting/architecture/engineering or related field is required.
• 1- 2 years of Project Estimator experience required.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment, especially in the stone or landscape field is preferred.
• Successful previous experience as a CAD Technician and Project Estimator, consistently meeting or exceeding goals.
• Maintain high level of accuracy and attention to detail with all information presented to both customers and supporting departments throughout the company.
• Excellent prioritizing, time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively and with exceptional professional etiquette .
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and Google Suite.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $92,000.00 per year
