Objectives
- Represent the company effectively with comprehensive knowledge of our offerings.
- Research consumer needs and identify how our solutions address them.
- Hire, train, motivate, and advise a team of sales representatives.
- Achieve company objectives by planning thoroughly, setting sales goals, analysing performance data, and making forecasts.
- Develop skills continuously for hiring, training, and leading team members, and ensure that they're using effective sales tactics to meet revenue objectives.
- Generate leads and establish and nurture client relationships.
- Ensure the company’s sales process is followed.
- Create and execute a strategic sales plan that expands our customer base and extends the company's reach.
- Meet with potential clients and grow long-lasting relationships that address their needs.
- Identify knowledge gaps within the team and develop plans for filling them.
- Ensure that company quotas are met by holding daily check-ins with sales team to set objectives and monitor progress.
- Manage the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Oversee and analyse business sales and financial information and execute the necessary actions to ensure the annual quota plan is met.
- Communicate and provide updates to customers and shareholders at all levels of the organization.
- Other tasks and responsibilities as needed to support efficient department operations or as directed by the company.
- Motivational speaking experience
- Proven success rate at levels above sales quota
- Ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-specialists.
- Clear understanding of financial selling and the Breakaway Sales Process.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and IT Literate
- Good decision-making skills
- Able to plan and prioritize work, positively managing pressure and adjusting plans to meet changing needs.
- Willing to take on new responsibilities and be accountable for his/her actions.
- Deals with people in a straightforward and honest manner.
- Can present logically sound and well-reasoned arguments to support technical proposals.
- Is initiative-taking but can also work effectively as part of a team to meet deadlines.
- Listens to others and values opinions.
- Five or more years of experience in managing sales in a corporate setting.
- Proven record of success with the entire sales process, from planning to closing
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Superb leadership ability
- Ability to travel at least 20% of the time.
- Degree in Business, Administration or Engineering
- This position has supervisory responsibilities.
