Administrative Assistant Long-Term Substitute

The Mountain View Union Elementary School District is seeking an Administrative Assistant at Hardwick Elementary School for the remainder of the school year and possibly beyond. This extended school-year position will need a candidate with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as organizational skills. Experience with PowerSchool and the Google Suite is highly desired. The position requires a flexible, team player with a minimum of 2 years of the same work-related experience.

The terms of this position are for 192 paid days during a full year plus some work days over the summer. The position falls in the Collective Bargaining Unit for Support Staff with full benefits. The Mountain View location for this position is Hardwick Elementary School, but Mountain View employees are subject to reassignment in rare cases. The Administrative Assistant supports the principals, staff, students, and families by maintaining a safe, effective, and positive learning environment.

They often serve as the initial point of contact for students, staff, and community members. Mountain View Union Elementary School District (or Mountain View) is comprised of the towns of Hardwick, Woodbury, Greensboro, and Stannard. Students typically attend the town in which they reside, with Stannard students attending on the Greensboro campus. School choice is an option within Mountain View.

Hardwick Elementary School is located in Hardwick, VT, and serves students in grades preK-6. The school population is approximately 210 students.
