What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Development Manager position at ORS Nasco * MEDCO * Nestor Sales?
Primary Purpose :
The position drives business results and sales in an assigned ledger. Travels within the northern Illinois, Wisconsin, South Dakota, Nebraska, and Iowa territory, making face-to-face sales calls to customers while enhancing sales opportunities and building account relationships. Builds senior-level relationships with owners, purchasers, and sales personnel at all key accounts, focusing on selling key company initiatives and strategically identified vendors. Inputs and manages an intermediate level of sales analysis within the pipeline and dashboard tools for account penetration measurement.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct consultative face-to-face selling at the customer's place of business.
- Uses financial acumen to monetize and deliver targeted opportunities with base business and competitive line sales conversions.
- Targets and converts sales opportunities with LRP impact close sales on vendor conversion initiatives and develops senior-level relationships with principal owners.
- Conducts sales analysis, both opportunity identification and business loss prevention within reporting tools for assigned accounts.
- Manages multiple priorities that involve customer conflict resolution with cross-functional associates.
- Promotes effective communication with customers, both internally and externally to customers : bids, quotes, expense completion, competitive information, trade shows, threats and opportunities, and sales follow-up.
- Understands and demonstrate the MEDCO vision and culture when interacting with customers, co-workers, and with vendor partners
- Performs other duties as assigned.
