Location : Tampa, Florida (On-site initially, potential for hybrid in the future)

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented HR Systems and Reporting Analyst to join our dynamic HR team. This is a fantastic opportunity to collaborate with talented professionals and play a key role in optimizing and maintaining our HR systems and data analytics capabilities.

Position Overview :

The HRIS Reporting Analyst will serve as the subject matter expert (SME) and go-to person for all HR system-related functions. You will be responsible for maintaining the integrity and reliability of our HRIS (Human Resource Information System), ensuring the system meets the needs, requirements, and objectives of the business. Your role will include managing the back-end maintenance and configuration of the HRIS, assisting with the implementation of system capabilities, and supporting the HR team with reporting and system troubleshooting. Additionally, you will create and maintain dashboards and reports that track key people-related metrics while handling ad-hoc reporting requests.

This role requires frequent collaboration with HR staff, including Payroll, Benefits, and HR Business Partners, as well as cross-departmental collaboration with Finance and IT teams to ensure necessary requirements and reporting needs are met.

Key Responsibilities :

HRIS Management and Optimization :

  • Maintain and configure the HRIS to meet the evolving needs of the HR department.
  • Assess the current system and utilization, recommending improvements such as training, customization, and enhancements to maximize value and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with HR staff and organizational leadership to determine short- and long-term HRIS objectives, and develop plans for system modifications, updates, and customizations.
  • Program custom functions, automated queries, filters, macros, and reports to improve system functionality and reporting capabilities

Reporting and Data Analytics :

  • Design and maintain customized dashboards and reports to track key HR metrics such as turnover, headcount, diversity, and employee engagement.
  • Handle ad-hoc reporting requests and interpret data to provide actionable insights to HR leadership.
  • Prepare and present findings and recommendations based on data analysis to HR directors and other company leaders.
  • User Support and Training :

  • Provide hands-on user support for HRIS issues and questions, ensuring smooth system usage across the organization.
  • Prepare training materials, guides, and documentation to enhance system understanding and usage.
  • Conduct user training sessions to ensure HR staff and other employees are fully equipped to use the HRIS effectively.
  • Collaboration and Compliance :

  • Work closely with the IT team to troubleshoot system issues, test new features, and ensure data integrity.
  • Ensure that the HRIS complies with data security and privacy requirements.
  • Stay updated on trends and developments in HRIS technologies, vendors, and best practices.
  • Continuous Improvement :

  • Identify and recommend new system functionalities to improve business processes.
  • Develop and implement plans for new HRIS capabilities to align with the company’s growing needs.
  • Required Skills / Abilities :

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, data analysis).
  • Previous UKG (UltiPro) system admin experience
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and technical support skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify system improvements and troubleshoot issues.
  • Familiarity with human resources policies and procedures to ensure the HRIS meets organizational needs.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive data appropriately.
  • Thorough understanding of system design, functional analysis, and commercial HRIS products.
  • Ability to interpret complex data and translate it into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders.
  • Education and Experience :

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, IT or related field or equivalent experience
  • 2-4 years of experience working with HR business systems is highly preferred
