Physical Therapy Front Desk Associate

Orthopaedic Specialists of Austin is hiring for a full-time Front Desk Associate at our Physical Therapy Clinic in Leander, TX.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to multitask

As a Front Desk Associate (Receptionist) for OSA, you will be responsible for coordinating daily activities of our facility to ensure smooth operations. Your job duties will also include a variety of secretarial business aspects of patient care to include scheduling procedures and office appointments, reception, bookkeeping and other clerical support duties with emphasis on customer service.

Job Requirements:

• Education requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Experience: Registration experience preferred
• Responsible for checking out patient once seen by the provider
• Responsible for scheduling tests and follow up appointments
• Responsible for educating patient on their next treatment step as provided by the provider
• Strong computer literacy, typing ability and knowledge of medical terminology
• Strong customer service skills
• Skill in communicating effectively with physicians and clients
• Electronic medical record experience preferred
