Location:
Ø High school graduate or equivalent GED
Ø Minimum One-year Customer Service Experience
Ø Excellent customer service skills with the ability to project a professional, pleasant image while interacting with others
Ø Ability to plan, prioritize and complete multiple tasks under stress with frequent interruptions
Ø Self-motivated and willing to learn in a fast-paced environment
Ø Excellent telephone and communication skills, both written and oral
Ø Strong attention to detail is necessary
Ø Proficient Level Of Computer Skills Required
Ø Ability to responsibly handle and maintain confidential information
Responsibilities
Ø Must be customer service oriented as this position is the first impression of our organization to all patients and their guests
Ø Interact and maintain professionalism with all patients, family members, and vendors
Ø Verify Insurance and process eligibility
Ø Competently register and schedule patients for appointments
Ø Work in a fast past environment with attention to detail regarding all pertinent medical information
Ø Collect Co-pays, co-insurances, and patient balances
Ø General duties include answering phones, data entry, and scanning
Ø Other tasks as assigned by supervisor or physician
Ø Travel may be required based on coverage needs for the department
Ø Some overtime is expected but cannot be guaranteed
