Overview
Responsible for providing technical and operational support to ensure the optimal change and maintenance of slot machines across all Osage Casino properties. This includes creating and managing slot change work sheets and assisting with the development of innovative and efficient slot floor layouts. The role requires the evaluation of machine profitability, troubleshooting of technical issues, and coordination with various departments, including Audit, Accounting, and Slot Operations, to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth operations. Additionally, the Slot Support Specialist II will assist in the coordination of machine maintenance and repairs. This position requires a strong understanding of and the ability to navigate within Konami Synkros, and an awareness of industry trends to support both tactical and strategic initiatives that drive the efficiency and profitability of slot operations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- Minimum of five (5) years of casino experience required.
- Minimum of three (3) years experience in Slot Operations preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
- Knowledge of Konami Synkros preferred.
- Knowledge of both Class II and Class III E-Gaming operations and MICS, TICS, SICS as they apply to Oklahoma Tribal Gaming preferred.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Excel, and MS SQL preferred.
- Required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and obtain and maintain an Osage Nation gaming license.
- Required to provide documents to show the applicant is eligible to work in the United States.
- Osage, Native American, and Veteran preference shall apply to all positions at Osage Casinos.

Responsibilities
SUPERVISION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Creation, maintenance, and accuracy of slot change spreadsheets, machine matrices, and floor layouts, ensuring they meet operational and strategic requirements.
- Provide leadership and guidance in the implementation of slot change spreadsheets via updates to Konami Synkros, the evolving machine matrices, progressive documentation spreadsheets, and all other applicable forms and processes.
- Oversee the support of slot machine performance, identifying profitability trends, and assist the Slot Department on machine change and floor configurations.
- Manage the investigation of machine issues, variances, and discrepancies, ensuring accurate resolution and communication with relevant departments such as Audit and Accounting.
- Guide team members in coordination with vendors, technicians, and Slot Operations to ensure the smooth execution of game changes and system updates.
- Provide leadership and guidance in the development and implementation of strategic initiatives that improve the efficiency, profitability, and effectiveness of slot operations.
- Mentor and train junior staff on best practices, technical skills, and systems such as Konami Synkros, fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
- Ensure compliance with gaming regulations, industry trends, and internal policies, maintaining a high standard of operational integrity across all slot operations.
- Manage workload distribution to Slot Support Specialist I, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently, effectively, and in line with departmental objectives.
DEPARTMENT OPERATIONS:
- Responsible for the creation of slot change spreadsheets, the evolving machine matrices, and performing matrix/floor layout audits.
- Primary evaluation of slot manufacturer par sheets for game changes and machine setup options impacting performance, such as par percentage, denominations, software, pay table variations, lines, bet per line, max bets, top awards, progressives, and billing.
- Reviews machine setups for profitability and player appeal; compiling of scheduled slot machine moves with the Slot Operations Manager and Slot Department for the development of a creative and innovative slot floor layout and configuration.
- Responsible for the updating of all slot operations within the back-office reporting system for all Osage properties, including floor graphics, resolution of machine reporting issues, software, machine models, zones, banks, repositories, game indexes, point ratios, activations, and deactivations.
- Responsible for the updating and oversight of progressives at all Osage properties, tracking removals and moves, and reporting progressive removals to accounting, audit, casino management, and marketing.
- Investigates machine issues for Audit, Accounting, and other departments; investigates variances, and coordinates information exchange to resolve issues.
- Responsible for back of house activities, including recording and updating of slot machine maintenance, preventative maintenance, and repair to ensure effective slot operations.
- Provides strategic direction, leadership, team collaboration, and stewardship for design through implementation of the various existing and evolving Casino systems, solutions, and processes.
- Responsible for working directly with Slot Operations management to ensure project development tasks are completed to deliver data driven Slot decisions.
- Provides timely and accurate compiling of departmental related statistics, analytical reports, and operating expenses that will ensure the department functions in an effective, efficient, and profitable manner.
- Ensure EGM tax paperwork is completed and sent to Osage Nation Tax Commission.
- Maintains a working knowledge and understanding of gaming machines and relevant gaming regulations.
- Learn and maintain thorough working knowledge of Konami Synkros or applicable back-office reporting systems.
- Required to prepare detailed daily, weekly, and monthly reports and forms as required by the reporting seniors.
- Maintains knowledge of trends in the slot industry.
- Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
