Description
The Human Resources Specialist provides administrative support to the Human Resources department. The Specialist will provide technical support in recruitment and onboarding. Performs general office duties as assigned and achieves all goals and objectives set forth by the Human Resources Director.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's or Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferred
- SHRM Certified Professional certifications preferred
- At least 1 year experience in new hire recruitment and onboarding required
- At least 2 years of proven work experience in a Human Resources department required
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations pertaining to Human Resources required
- Must have knowledge of employee confidentiality
- Requires excellent oral, written and communication skills
- Must have good organizational skills, time management skills and ability to work in a fast pace environment
- Must have hands-on experience working in an HRIS (human resource information system)
- Requires ability to use Microsoft Office Suite programs
- Requires willingness and ability to learn new skills, including travel to conferences and training sessions
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
- Must be able to pass drug/alcohol testing
- Must have a valid driver’s license
