Description
- Under general direction, analyze new and existing production orders; assign production jobs to work stations and coordinate process operations following standard operating procedures
- Plan schedules considering capacity planning, labor, waste, and quality standards.
- Assign start date/time and end date/time for production jobs and process operations.
- Coordinate between shop floor personnel and planning departments to ensure timely completion of production jobs.
- Expedite and adjust work schedules to meet customer demands
Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- One (1) to four (4) years of prior experience with production scheduling, manufacturing experience preferred
- Proficiency with manufacturing scheduling systems, MRP/ERP systems
- Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects in a timely manner
