Role: MAC IT Specialist
Location: Huntington Beach, CA- 5 days onsite
The MAC IT Specialist has proficient knowledge and skills of debugging and troubleshooting in MAC/Apple. Ability to understand support systems, SLAs, monitoring processes, and handling tickets is required. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills along with a thorough understanding of Apple laptop, devices, and MAC OS.
Responsibilities and Skillsets:
- Experience with Apple laptop/Apple devices/MAC OS, JAMF endpoint management system in an enterprise environment
- Strong experience with latest technologies with Macintosh systems and computers
- Provide support maintaining laptop/desktop provisioning procedures for Apple endpoints
- Strong experience with desktop lease refresh, VDI implementation, MAC OS deployment automation, and application upgrades
- Provide guidance and training to the IT Helpdesk team, ensuring they are well-equipped to handle day-to-day tasks
- Report on Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports based on the team's performance.
- Oversee the management of software and hardware licenses, including Adobe, M365, Cisco, and certification renewals
- Adept at testing and installing AV systems, troubleshooting, providing technical support, and maintenance solutions for AV/VTC equipment
- Familiarity with Audio Visual products like Logitech, Crestron, Tesira/Biamp
- Familiar with AV design principles
- Manage the onboarding and offboarding processes on a weekly basis and generate monthly reports on asset lease status.
- Conduct an annual assessment of assets and ensure efficient inventory management
- Facilitate general IT procurement, including the purchase of hardware and software. Manage documentation and approvals for these acquisitions.
- Bachelors’ Degree in IT/Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 2-4 years of strong MAC experience
- Excellent communication skills and customer service
