What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Support Specialist position at OSMC?
Job Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will assist with installation, configuration, updating, maintenance and support of workstations, peripheral devices, printing/scanning devices, presentation equipment, software, mobile devices, and network related problems either desk side or using remote support tools for a multi-site organization. Travel between facilities is required. This position will be working part time hours of 20 hours a week. These hours are able to fluctuate based on a college schedule but must be able to work between 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Essential Requirements
Ideal candidate will have at least 1 year experience in the following:
- Working within a Microsoft Windows network environment with Windows Operating System, and Office 365.
- Configuring and troubleshooting computer hardware and peripheral devices.
- Work with Vendors for network hardware and/or software issues as needed.
- Track and log details of work performed.
- Maintain IT support documentation regarding software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in an IT support role. Experience in Health IT a plus.
- Must possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License and vehicle
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time
