You will be responsible for the development, testing and deployment of Workday Extend applications. Working under the Workday Extend Functional Lead, you will assist in gathering requirements and testing the applications. The ideal candidate should have a passion and drive to learn Workday Extend Development and be willing to lead a best-in-class solution to all Otis employees. Core Competencies/Experiences: Passion to learn and develop an expertise in developing Workday Extend Applications Gather other perspectives and set a clear direction while questioning current practices and adapting along the way Take ownership of challenges, accurately defining problems and reprioritizing as needed to reach overall objectives. Work across teams, communication clearly to align objective and taking initiative in service stakeholders Contribute to a team environment where colleagues share their ideas an celebrate different views Communicate and listen with sensitivity, remaining open and responding flexibly to different people, ideas and situations. Understand Workday’s Implementation Methodology and use it on all engagements Set challenging goals with clear expectations, offering feedback and coaching to support achieving them Prepare documentation for release management Understand the SDLC process Passion for making wicked cool apps!! Education: 2/4-year College Degree and/or a passion to learn how to build full applications Experience/Qualifications: Any experience with Workday (great to have) Experience with OO Programming or using API’s (great to have) Experience with Postman (great to have) Thrive in a diverse, fast paced, global environment Experienced in configuring Workday Business Processes (great to have) Basic knowledge of AGILE and Project Management methodologies and practices Think analytically and can effectively apply logic to solve problems Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines, despite conflicting demands Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate and team with others Excellent analytical, presentation, interpersonal, organizational, and facilitation skills.
