Position Description:
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Summer Intern to support efforts for Our Rescue’s July 30 Rise Up event working with Volunteer, Donor, Community, and Employee Engagement efforts. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience working cross-functionally with Marketing & Communications, Advancement and Operations teams supporting media, marketing collateral, press and engagement efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Community Engagement & Advancement:
- Assist in planning and executing community outreach initiatives and events.
- Support donor engagement and fundraising efforts, including research and outreach.
- Help coordinate partnerships with local organizations and stakeholders.
Marketing & Communications:
- Contribute to social media management, content creation, and campaign development.
- Assist in drafting newsletters, press releases, and promotional materials.
- Conduct market research and analyze audience engagement metrics.
CEO Shadowing & Special Projects:
- Observe high-level meetings and strategy discussions.
- Support cross-functional projects that align with organizational goals.
- Assist with research and preparation for executive initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Current college student or recent graduate with an interest in business, management, marketing, or communications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
- Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for community engagement and leadership development.
