What are the responsibilities and job description for the Network Support Technician position at Ovation Workplace Services?
Brief JD:
Decommissioning Meraki devices hardware , which resided in HQ MDF
Mounting new Meraki , hardware, in the MDF and connect them to the network in data center.
Vendor access to MDF and guidance
Adding, removing and replacing hardware in the systems, like (Meraki Devices, ethernet cable, Fiber cable, Fiber PFS, power supply, etc.)
Troubleshooting Meraki devices which needs physical presence.
Inspecting hardware in the MDF and IDF, sometime monitoring tools my miss or was not configured.
Wiring and other physical checks as required
Support any power outage - planned and unplanned
Badge/Card readers & Access Camera troubleshooting Physical restart required
All Inventory Management of Meraki Devices in HQ
Meraki devices dispatch to other spoke location from HQ (Including Project tasks)
Test Lab readiness
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $68,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
