Job Description
Perform all duties necessary to efficiently manage the office of a mechanical contractor.

Responsibilities (partial listing):
>Accounts Payable
>Accounts Receivable
>Billing (invoice customers)
>Bank deposits

> Prepare Contracts and Subcontracts as needed
>Reconcile monthly bank statements
>Weekly payroll (calculate & submit electronically)
>Weekly certified payroll reports
>Monthly union reports
>Prepare bids (deliver if needed)
>Prepare & submit shop drawings for approval
>Compile O&M manuals at end of projects
>Submit quarterly & semi-annual reports to bonding agent
>Prepare & submit 1099 Forms annually
>Prepare & submit year-end tax info to accountant
>Other administrative duties as required (copying, printing, scanning, answering phone, accepting deliveries, ordering supplies as needed, maintaining company vehicle records, etc.)

Summary

As an Office Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily office operations and ensuring a smooth workflow within the organization. Your core skills in office management, communication, and organization will be essential in maintaining an efficient work environment. You will leverage premium skills such as QuickBooks for financial tasks and event planning to coordinate office activities. Your relevant experience in customer service and team management will enhance collaboration and support the overall success of our team. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
