Ox Onsite is seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated HR Coordinator to support our Human Resources team by providing assistance in HR administration, employee relations, and health and safety coordination.

JOB DETAILS:
Status: Full-Time, Permanent, Salaried
Hours: Office Hours (Monday – Friday) – After-hours availability periodically required
Working Conditions: Office-based with occasional off-site visits
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 1-3 years of human resources experience, preferably in construction, agricultural, or mechanical industries
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Familiarity with health and safety practices or willingness to learn
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and tasks
WE ARE LOOKING FOR INDIVIDUALS WHO:
- Support the HR team with tasks such as managing employee records, scheduling interviews, and preparing HR reports
- Assist in onboarding new employees, including organizing orientation materials and ensuring compliance with new hire documentation requirements
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR and health and safety policies
- Coordinate and track health and safety training programs, certifications, and compliance requirements in collaboration with the Health & Safety Specialist
- Manage the company’s personal protective equipment (PPE) program, including ordering and distributing PPE to employees
- Assist with workers’ compensation claims and maintain accurate records for health and safety incidents
- Help maintain HR and health and safety databases, ensuring training records are up-to-date and accurate
- Organize employee engagement activities and events to foster a positive workplace culture
- Respond positively to challenges and a fast-paced environment, demonstrating professionalism and adaptability
