POSITION OVERVIEW
The Parts Manageris responsible for the development and execution of the parts sale’s strategy for Oxbo customers in California’s south valley. This position supports customers by acting as a subject matter expert for Oxbo parts and functionality, and ensures critical inventory is on-hand. The Parts Manager uses critical thinking and problem-solving skills to get customers what they need with urgency, seeks opportunities to create efficiencies within the parts department, manages the day-to-day activities of the parts department, and ensures proper documentation is completed timely and in compliance with Oxbo policies and procedures.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Develops sales strategies and goals for the parts sales team and assists in creating and implementing sales and marketing plans
· Develops and maintains in-depth knowledge of Oxbo equipment parts and functions. Uses knowledge to educate and assist customers with obtaining the parts they need
· Trains, develops, and provides guidance to Parts Sales Assistants.
· Responsible for the parts sales schedule and ensuring support is available to customers throughout the season
· Assists customers with telephone, email, and in-person orders, reviews daily parts orders for accuracy, prepares orders, and ensures timely shipment/delivery of parts to customers
· Prepares sales slips or sales contracts with use of computer program; properly bills customer according to credit policy and FarmPlan
· Advises customers on substitution or modification of parts when replacements are not available
· Provides excellent customer service and works to build and establish relationships with potential customers to increase Oxbo’s customer base and sales
· Receives parts shipments and manages the upkeep of Oxbo’s parts inventory system to ensure proper inventory is maintained to support Oxbo’s customers
· Assures all parts sales documents are completed accurately, according to Company policy, in full compliance with all local, state, and federal laws, and submitted to the accounting office on a timely basis
· Supports effective and efficient business practice.

· Maintains positive business relationships, good attendance, punctuality, and acts in accordance with all company policies and procedures.
· Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
· Associate’s Degree and 2 years’ experience working in parts, service or related field, or High School Diploma/GED and 5 years of related experience
· Bilingual in English and Spanish
· Must have a valid CA driver’s license and ability to drive a company vehicle
· Must be willing and able to drive for work on a regular basis
· Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services, including marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
· Strong critical thinking skills and ability to exercise independent judgement
· Proven ability to work under pressure to meet peaks in activity
· Proven ability to manage, motivate and lead a team of employees
· Proficient in using basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office
· Strong understanding and ability to execute fundamental math concepts
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy
· Ability to manage multiple priorities
· Strong organizational and time management skills
· Effective verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to work collaboratively with team members
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Experience with using Syspro or QAD systems
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
· Must have the ability to travel to Oxbo’s California service locations and customers throughout the valley as assigned or required.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, as in an office setting.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus.
