Essential Job Responsibilities
- Design the right machine learning model architecture and model type
- Creates and maintain relationships with external commercial vendors of products and services.
- Surface vendors that may be of interest to a business unit at Oxy.
- Search for specific vendors needed for a concrete challenge at Oxy.
- Conduct proof-of-concept projects to validate vendor technologies and qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, engineering or related field required
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in vendor management desired.
- Strong communication and relationship skills.
- Knowledge of legal contracting preferred.
- Knowledge in AI and ML required.
- Deep energy industry knowledge required.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft products (Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Word, Power BI).
