Established in 1926, Oyster Harbors Club is a cherished gem of New England, offering unparalleled experiences to our members and guests. We take pride in our all-encompassing summer tennis program, featuring private lessons, adult and junior clinics, tournaments, and events.
As a member of our tennis pro shop staff, you will play a vital role in delivering top-notch service to our valued members and guests. We are currently seeking customer service-oriented individuals with excellent communication and organizational skills to join our team for the upcoming summer season.
Responsibilities:
· Welcome and assist visitors in the pro shop.
· Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work environment.
· Answer phone calls and assist members with lesson, clinic, and tournament sign-ups.
· Process requests for stringing services.
· Support the tennis director with pro shop stocking and inventory.
· Assist with daily operations of the pro shop.
· Operate computer-based point of sale system.
This position reports directly to Jennifer Gelhaus, our tennis director.
Qualifications:
· Previous customer service and reception/office experience preferred.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Energetic, enthusiastic, and reliable.
· Professional demeanor and respectful attitude towards staff and members.
· Team-oriented with a willingness to collaborate.
· Basic computer skills; ability to learn our reservation system.
