As a key leader within the P1 Dental Partners' Human Resources team, the HR Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in optimizing HR functions across our growing dental organization. This role reports directly to the Director, HR Operations. The HR Operations Manager supervises an HR Operations Payroll/Benefits Specialist. This position is responsible for overseeing HR processes, data analytics/reporting, compliance, benefits administration, and employee experience to ensure efficiency, consistency, and alignment with P1 Dental Partners' mission and values. The HR Operations Manager works closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to streamline HR operations, drive compliance, and enhance employee engagement within our network of dental practices.

- 3-5 years of experience with ADP
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in an HR operations or management role (healthcare or dental experience preferred).
- HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) is preferred.
- Experience in multi-location HR support, preferably in a dental or healthcare environment.
- Familiarity with employment laws, compliance requirements, and HR best practices within dentistry or healthcare.

Essential Duties
- Manage day-to-day HR operations, ensuring processes run efficiently and align with company policies and industry’s best practices.
- Manage and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including OSHA, HIPAA, FMLA, and other regulatory requirements applicable to the dental industry.
- Optimize HR systems and technology to improve efficiency, including HRIS, payroll, benefits administration, and performance management systems.
- Act as a liaison between HR, finance, and operations to align HR strategies with business goals.
- Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, ensuring clarity and accessibility for employees and management.
- Oversee employee benefits administration, including open enrollment, vendor management, and employee inquiries.
- Manage employee record management, ensuring fair and consistent practices while mitigating risk for the organization.
- Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to support onboarding, new hire compliance, and benefit enrollment.
- Develop and deliver HR-related training programs for practice leaders and employees to enhance compliance and workplace culture.
- Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance employee experience and operational effectiveness within HR.
- Maintain HR data integrity, generate reports, and analyze key HR metrics to inform strategic decision-making.
- Serve as a resource for practice managers and leadership teams regarding HR-related inquiries and best practices.
- Knowledge of ADP Workforce Now payroll and benefits administration required.
- Strong knowledge of HR operations, compliance, and best practices within the healthcare or dental industry.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-location environment, ensuring consistent HR support across all dental practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in HRIS, payroll systems, and benefits administration with ADP platform.
- Strong written, oral communication, and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with professionalism and discretion.
- Experience in training, coaching, and developing HR policies and procedures.
- The position is based in Home Office (Indianapolis, IN), with occasional travel to dental practices as needed.
- Continuous use of computer equipment, including HR systems and reporting tools.
- Flexibility in work schedule to accommodate business needs and HR support requirements.
