Job description
Essential/Primary Job Functions:
Candidate is responsible for entering and processing loan payments that are received daily through the various payment channels. This includes retrieving payments that are received through the US Postal Service. Candidate is also responsible for organizing, preparing, and managing expense receipts for the company and its vendors.
Specific duties for the Bookkeeping role include:
- Pick mail up from local post office.
- Open mail using mail machine.
- Sort through daily correspondence and forward to the appropriate department
- Process and post incoming payments that are received through various payment channels. This includes physical checks, as well as electronic payments.
- Deposit the checks that are received in house using a remote capture check scanning system.
- Manage the declined payments and process accordingly in the system.
- Respond to email inquiries, as necessary.
- Participate in and contribute to developing and improving the cash application and reconciliation process.
- All other compliance-related assignments as may be required by financial institution to comply with agency, internal and/or regulatory protocols.
- Organize, prepare, and manage expense receipts for CEO
- Organize, prepare and manage shipping and inventorying marketing materials for clients
- Conduct market research and compare costs/benefits when evaluating new vendors
- Coordinate, order, ship and manage equipment inventory for new hires
- Coordinate the management of office repairs and related matters
- Order, maintain, and distribute in-office supplies
- Maintain the list of vendors and vendor invoices
· Assist in the filing and reconcile all returned mail by obtaining a current address for the receiver
· Daily post office runs to obtain all mail and correspondence
Requirements
· High School diploma
- Reliable Transportation
· Preferred 2 years experience bookkeeping (A/R and A/P) and/or Executive Assistant experience
· General knowledge of Excel and Word documents.
· Demonstrates an aptitude for learning and a clear ability to provide prompt high-level and responsive service.
· Displays a positive attitude, good communications skills, strong planning, execution and work ethic required.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
