About the Role:
The HR Generalist will be responsible for a wide range of human resources functions, including onboarding, employee relations, compliance, performance management, and training and development. This role ensures alignment with the organization’s goals while fostering a positive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee onboarding and orientation processes for new hires.
- Serve as the first point of contact for employees regarding HR-related questions and concerns.
- Investigate and resolve employee issues while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment through proactive engagement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and company policies.
- Maintain accurate HR records and documentation, including employee files and reports.
- Support managers in implementing performance reviews, goal setting, and improvement plans.
- Provide guidance on career development and employee growth initiatives.
- Identify training needs and coordinate learning and development programs.
- Track and analyze HR data, such as turnover, retention, and recruitment metrics.
- Generate reports and provide recommendations to improve HR processes and outcomes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field experience.
- 2-3 years of HR experience, preferably in a generalist capacity.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Proficient in HRIS systems (ADP) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
