Job Summary:
PACC is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Fiscal Bookkeeper to manage our financial records with precision and efficiency. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate ledgers, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Proficiency in QuickBooks is a strong advantage.
Qualifications:
- Must have 2 years of verifiable experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
- Expertise in double-entry bookkeeping and accounting principles.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.
- Proficiency with accounting software; QuickBooks (advanced knowledge preferred)
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Effective communication: respond promptly to written and verbal inquiries, demonstrate effective oral and written communication
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel or other data analysis tools.
- Experience with financial forecasting or budgeting.
- Must have a valid current driver’s license, valid insurance, and reliable vehicle available for daily use
- High school diploma/GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record and reconcile financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Ensure timely and accurate bank reconciliations.
- Monitor budgets and provide insights to support financial decision-making.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.
- Assist with audits and tax preparation as needed.
- Manage invoicing, expense tracking, and vendor payments.
Preferred Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks (Desktop or Online).
