Role Overview
The Transaction Analyst collaborates closely with the originations leadership team to drive PACE Equity’s business development initiatives. This role involves underwriting new proposals, conducting detailed modeling and analysis, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and CPACE program criteria. It’s an ideal opportunity for recent graduates or early-career professionals seeking to build expertise in commercial real estate finance and sustainable development.
Key Responsibilities
- Proposal Evaluation: Review term sheets and commitments to ensure alignment with PACE Equity policies and CPACE program requirements.
- Program Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of CPACE program requirements nationwide. Support leadership in maintaining internal guidelines and foster relationships with program administrators. Address initial inquiries with increasing fluency in technical specifications.
- Financial Modeling & Analysis: Analyze proformas, development models, and budgets to determine appropriate PACE Equity funding. Collaborate with the originations team to present proposals, understand customer needs and propose solutions.
- General Support: Perform additional duties as needed to assist sales team leadership and Market Leaders, ensuring smooth operations across the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or commercial real estate.
- Professional experience in a business or corporate setting.
- Familiarity with finance concepts (e.g., DSCR, LTV, amortization schedules)
- Proficiency with technology, particularly Microsoft Office 365, Salesforce, and file-sharing tools.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
