STABILIZATION CASE MANAGER
The PACE, Inc. Housing Opportunity Center is expanding its growing housing program to better respond to the needs in the Greater New Bedford and Bristol County area. We are seeking a motivated individual who can bring new skills to our team with the following qualifications and skills:
- BA/BS in Human Services preferred,
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills,
- Computer skills with the ability to perform daily tasks within Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Excel,
- Excellent documentation and file keeping skills,
- MA driver’s license and reliable transportation required,
- Ability to speak Haitian Creole preferred.
Prior experience in human services, housing, and homelessness services. Experience or knowledge of RAFT, HomeBASE programs, as well as experience with the Department of Transitional Assistance, the Department of Housing and Community Development and HUD. Must have demonstrated understanding of resources and systems available through governmental, non-profit and private sectors, and have a compassionate nature to help people progress from homelessness to self-sufficiency. Proven ability to maintain high productivity while functioning in a flexible environment requiring both independent work and close coordination with team members. Must have a sensitivity and responsiveness to people of diverse backgrounds.
The position will involve working directly with eligible families to assist them in becoming financially stable and secure in permanent housing while addressing any barriers to success. This position presents an opportunity to work as part of a dynamic team dedicated to serving people in need. The successful candidate will have a strong working knowledge of how to navigate public resources, and possess the empathy required to understand and relate to the people we serve.

SALARY:$19 - $21 per hour (salary will be determined based on the candidate’s experience), dependent upon funding; 40 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
