Description
Basic Function: As a shipping and receiving clerk, you must be accurate and reliable in handling orders and documents. Being good at math and a high degree of organizational ability are essential due to the great amount of orders. The billing clerk position is accountable for creating invoices and issuing them to customers by all necessary means, and helping daily pick up customers.
Compensation: $18.00-21.00 per hour
Principal Accountabilities:
- Process credit memos
- Issue invoices to customers for pafco routes/ deliveries.
- Constant communication with warehouse team /Salesman and customers.
- Check route paperwork and help PAFCO drivers upon return of route.
- Match bill of lading with invoices.
- Create coordination reports.
- Issue monthly customer statements
- Report on activity to upper management
- Update customer files with issued invoices
- Submit invoices by electronic data interchange
- Update the customer master file with contact information
- Collecting all information needed to calculate bills receivable
- Track exceptions between the shipping log and invoice register
- Send reminders for payments and contact customers when assigned
- Answer questions and handle complaints from customers regarding bills
- Managing account balances to discover outstanding debts or other inconsistencies
- Checking the data input in the accounting system to ensure accuracy of final bill
Qualifications
- Must have at least 1 year of office or customer service experience.
- Must have intermediate computer skills.
- Must be bilingual in English & Spanish.
Salary : $18 - $21
