We're actively seeking a talented AVP Talent Development to join our Human resources team in Newport Beach, CA. This role is hybrid. We believe in empowering our employees to get work done both in and out of the office.
As an AVP Talent Development, you'll move Pacific Life, and your career, forward by designing and facilitating innovative blended learning solutions that support talent development strategies and meet business needs at both divisional and enterprise level. You will facilitate instructor-led and virtual business skills, professional and leadership development workshops as assigned, based on learning needs, input from HRBP's and talent development strategic priorities.
How you'll help move us forward :
- Facilitation and program development
- Facilitate instructor-led learning experiences including business skills classes, professional and leadership development programs and enterprise workshops using a variety of training methods and strategies (e.g. case studies, small group activities, simulations, videos, etc.)
- Deliver virtual classroom sessions or blended learning – ad hoc classes or small group development, including orientation when needed
- Maintain and update PL Re developed course materials, facilitator guides and
- Create blended learning paths for workshops as requested
- Manage small projects including use of task plans, timelines and schedules
- Utilize technology to create positive learner experiences and expand offerings

Base Pay Range :
The base pay range noted represents the company's good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.
