What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receptionist/Administrative Assistant position at Pacific Builders?
Pacific Builders is a well-established construction company, with a strong commitment to our local community, safety, and the environment. Pacific Builders is looking for an energetic office expeditor/front office person to join the team full time.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Answer phones in professional manner; and manage a multi-line phone system
Data entry in a construction-based software program
Plan disbursement: Receiving, scanning, printing, writing transmittals, sending and tracking bids and preparing plans for job sites
Preparing and distributing project closeout documents to clients
Greet clients at front desk
Order office and safety supplies
Schedule maintenance of company owned vehicles
Maintain orderliness of front office, kitchen and conference room
Scanning, printing and copying documents
Mail distribution and post office runs
Manage social media
Assist office, owners, superintendents and others with tasks as needed
Qualities desired for this position:
Must be able to work 40 hours a week with some flexibility
Possess own transportation and a valid driver’s license
Must have an understanding of what customer service consists of
Must be detail oriented with superb organizational and follow through skills
Ability to prioritize competing tasks and handle interruptions
A self-motivated person who can both work independently, and as part of a team
This position is 8:00am to 4:30pm with a half an hour lunch.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
