Accounting Manager

Responsibilities:

• Oversee various accounting functions, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and month-end close processes.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budget information to support strategic decision-making.
• Lead balance sheet reconciliations and manage financial consolidation processes.
• Provide insightful financial guidance and reporting to internal stakeholders, assisting them in understanding budget implications.
• Establish and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with financial regulations and best practices.
• Regularly stay updated on relevant accounting standards and operational guidelines.
• Collaborate cross-functionally on projects, supporting the broader finance and accounting teams as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related.
• At least 5 years of experience.
• Experience in real estate or related industries is highly desirable.
• Experience with Yardi and advanced knowledge of Excel.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams effectively.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across various organizational levels.
• Strong professional judgment and discretion in handling confidential information.
