Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Professional to join our team. This role is pivotal in providing support and therapeutic services to individuals, particularly those with disabilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various therapeutic techniques, including dance therapy, and be committed to promoting the well-being of our clients through effective patient assessment and behavior management strategies.
Duties
- Conduct patient assessments to evaluate individual needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Provide direct support to clients, ensuring their emotional and physical well-being.
- Implement dance therapy sessions as a form of creative expression and healing.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality.
- Utilize ICD-9 coding for accurate documentation of patient diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to address gender issues counseling and other relevant concerns.
- Assist clients in managing behaviors effectively, fostering a supportive environment for growth.
- Engage with outpatient services to ensure continuity of care for clients.
Experience
- Proven experience in direct support roles, preferably working with individuals with disabilities.
- Familiarity with dance therapy techniques is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and experience in patient assessment processes.
- Proficiency in ICD-9 coding for accurate medical record keeping.
- Experience addressing gender issues counseling and behavior management strategies is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
