Sales Support
- Drive customer retention by ensuring company assets are well maintained and ready for lease.
- Provide sales staff with accurate asset information.

- Ensure leased assets meet customer needs upon delivery.
- Maintain competitive awareness and market pricing.
- Manage age of inventory to minimize costs for the organization.
- Transfer vehicles, as appropriate, to capture market opportunities through the supervision of the Director of Operations
- Ensure correct mix of inventory at each location to meet market demands and ensuring best use of Capital Expenditure.
- Recommends cost control measures and ensures standards for quality of equipment and service in the most cost-effective manner possible.
- Works with Sales Manager and Director of Operations to maintain proper fleet levels in each branch location for respective area. Recommends fleet orders and movement of fleet between branches.
- Identifies problem assets and develops plan to properly refurbish or dispose of them.
- Reduce idle assets to maximize return on capital.
- Lead Asset Reviews with a cross functional team to improve asset utilization on all PMSI assets while in service.
- Works with Director of Operations to create unit-level action plans during the Asset Reviews to drive improved financial performance.
- Compute cost-benefit analysis to determine if unit should be prepped for Retail sale or sold “As Is”.
- Provide field expertise in compiling and managing surplus vehicles and coordinating redeployment.
- Coordinate, schedule and track out-service quality and timeliness to minimize the carrying costs of idle assets.
- Ensure standard Retail condition of units to be sold.
- Ensure the profitability of every unit by managing exception reporting and proactively identifying issues such as: missed billing and missed warranty opportunities, missed accident bill-back opportunities, excessive running and fixed costs, low margins, missing or incorrect specifications, etc.
- Review of all units prior to lease term expiration to determine remaining life and appropriate action plan: lease extension, redeployment, out service, or immediate pre-sale opportunity.
- Compress the ‘Capital Expenditure to First Revenue’ cycle time by managing the in-service process from the time the Purchasing Department orders a unit to the date the unit begins earning revenue.
- Ensure shops are operating efficiently and meeting company standards. Involved with manufacturers on issues that pertain to PMSI fleet.
- Implements new company Maintenance Initiatives to drive a PM program, repairs standards, service response time etc.
- Establish Regional customer response centers and staff field support as needed to improve NPS and Increase revenue.
- Identifies appropriate inventory levels to leverage purchasing benefits.
- Achieve BP revenue and pre-tax objectives, as well as KPI improvement targets and reduce expenses accordingly.
- Reduce Operating Cost through effective controls of materials spend labor management and improved productivity.
- Manages and develops Service Leaders at locations throughout region to ensure optimal efficiencies and highest standards are being met at each location.
- Evaluates performance of Service Leaders and takes corrective/disciplinary action as necessary on a timely basis and in accordance with Company policy. Makes recommendations for promotion and hiring of branch and Region level personnel.
- Actively communicates region and division directives and initiatives to all employees.
- Drive development of employees at all levels of the branch organization
- Expand product knowledge through seminars/training for Service Leaders and Sales staff.
- Works with People Ops to ensure proper handling of personnel issues at branch level.
- Works with Region Safety Manager to ensure branches are following PMSI safety policies and creating a safe work environment.
- Create Operations Playbook as training tool.
- Creating and environment in which people want to do their best.
- Understanding the importance of responsibility, accountability, and commitment.
- Teaching employees to be resourceful, effectively manage and quickly accomplish goals.
- Other projects as designated by COO or Corporate Staff
