Pacific Northwest Soccer Club, a growing soccer club, is seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and reliable Bookkeeper/Office Assistant to provide support in our daily operations. This position involves bookkeeping, payroll, and general administrative duties, with potential for growth in HR responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records and handle bookkeeping tasks (accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger).
- Process payroll for staff, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Assist in managing administrative tasks, such as scheduling meetings, handling correspondence, and maintaining club records.
- Support HR functions (recruiting, onboarding, and employee records) as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service to staff, players, and parents.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations.
- Assist with club events, meetings, and day-to-day operations as required.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in bookkeeping, payroll, or related administrative roles.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks) and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- HR experience is a plus but not required.
- Passion for soccer or experience in a sports environment is a plus.
