Job Summary:
In this role, you will provide maintenance of the computer desktop environment by analyzing requirements, resolving problems, installing hardware and software solutions, and supporting the internal IT Helpdesk. You will be responsible for the administration and internal support of the Company’s PCs, printers, and servers, along with related hardware and software. Tasks include end-user support, license tracking, asset management, performing PC maintenance, and upgrades. May also be involved with the administration of applications for end-users such as Okta, Google Workspace, Microsoft, etc.
What You'll do:
Provide helpdesk support and resolve problems to the end user’s satisfaction
Deliver comprehensive helpdesk assistance and proficiently address issues to ensure optimal resolution and utmost satisfaction for end users.
Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the IT helpdesk
Modify configurations, utilities, software default settings, etc. for the local workstation
Document internal procedures
Assist with onboarding of new users
Ensure each workstation has a computer, monitor, keyboard, mouse, hard drive, and any additional specialized equipment
Install, test, and configure new workstations, peripheral equipment, and software
Maintain inventory of all equipment, software, and software licenses
Manage PC setup and deployment for new employees using standard hardware, images, and software
Manage mobile devices for all Packsize LLC employees through Intune and FreshService
Manage VoIP phone system
Assign users and computers to proper groups in Active Directory
Perform timely workstation hardware and software upgrades, backups, and recoveries on a regular basis
Running multi-media conferencing solutions. Work with meeting stakeholders to present relevant content
Responsible for the de-provisioning of departed employees
Experience and Education Required:
Associate / Technical degree or Equivalent
MS900 or have it completed within the first 90 days.
2 years of relevant technical experience
What You'll Bring (including Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, Google Workplace, Windows, and Apple operating systems
Experience with DNS/DHCP, Client VPN, and Active Directory
Experience with IT ticketing systems, mobile devices, and other computer hardware
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organization and people skills
Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
May require occasional travel
Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
