PACO Group, Inc. (PACO) is seeking experienced and detail-oriented Inspectors and Quality Inspectors to join our team in support of the Gateway Program – Bridging Phase for NJ Transit, PANYNJ, and the Gateway Development Committee (GDC). These roles offer an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile infrastructure initiatives, ensuring quality, compliance, and operational excellence. As part of the inspection team, you will play a vital role in verifying construction standards, coordinating field activities, and maintaining safety and quality throughout the project lifecycle.
Inspector
Key Responsibilities:

Perform on-site inspections to verify compliance with specifications, drawings, and construction standards.

Oversee contractor work, ensuring proper execution and quality control.

Coordinate independent testing and monitor field operations to maintain alignment with project goals.

Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow and resolve issues.

Document daily activities, inspections, and progress in detailed reports.
Qualifications:

Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction inspection, preferably in transit or infrastructure projects.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.

Strong understanding of specifications, drawings, and industry standards.

Proficiency in field documentation and reporting tools.

Ability to work in field environments and coordinate with multiple teams.
Quality Inspector
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct quality assurance inspections to verify compliance with specifications, codes, and safety standards.

Review contractor submittals, test results, and reports to ensure adherence to project requirements.

Support project commissioning and final acceptance inspections.

Maintain accurate quality control documentation and assist in resolving non-conformance issues.

Collaborate with project managers and engineers to improve processes and maintain quality consistency.
Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of quality inspection experience in infrastructure or transit projects.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field preferred.

Proficiency in quality management systems, processes, and reporting tools.
