A busy, fast-paced pain management practice has an immediate opening for a full-time medical records clerk.
RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION AND GOOD ATTENDANCE IS MANDATORY FOR THIS POSITION.
The medical records clerk processes and organizes medical records in a timely manner in accordance with regulatory and accrediting agencies, as well as state and federal laws. Additionally, the medical records clerk handles incoming requests for additional information from third party providers.
We are looking for a methodical, team-oriented problem solver. This is an in-office position with our paper-based services department. Your days will be spent printing or scanning documents along with processing electronic files.
This position will be responsible for the following:
- Ensures medical records are assembled in standard order and that they are complete and accurate with all necessary information.
- Pull charts for medical record requests and file charts back after completion.
- Assist with filling all medical record requests.
- Scanning/copying medical records.
- Answering phone calls and returning voicemails in a timely fashion.
- Must be able to operate a copy machine, as well as a scanner
- Must have the ability to transfer data to a CD and/or flash drives

Additionally, we are currently hiring for our office on Chippewa; however, we will be relocating to Bridgeton in the next few months. Please do not apply for this position if the Bridgeton location is going to be a problem for your commute.
