PADEBCO Full-Service Boatyard & Custom Boat Builers is seeking full-time, year-round employees to join our team. This is a dynamic position that is involved in many aspects of our boat yard operation - hauling/launching, detailing, and bottom painting. Additionally, you’ll be exposed to projects with many marine trades including electronics, marine electrical work, plumbing, mechanical (inboard and outboards), some hydraulics, and launching and hauling boats.
Successful candidate will be a detail-oriented self-starter and a solid team player. Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform general and seasonal boat maintenance and service work. (Buffing, polishing, cleaning, bottom painting, etc.)
- Function as a team player and carry out additional duties as assigned.
- Haul, block, and launch boats.
- Available to work overtime when required to meet seasonal demands.
Technical & Physical Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to wear a respirator and personal safety equipment as required.
- Ability to work in confined spaces, bend, climb, balance, crouch, crawl, kneel, sit, walk, talk and hear, handle or operate objects, tools, or controls, and reach with arms and hands.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to work outside in diverse weather conditions.
Experience:
- Previous boatyard or marine industry experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of power tools is a plus.
- Marine or ABYC certification is a plus.
- Basic boat handling skills are a plus.
PADEBCO is a full-service boatyard and custom boat builder of distinctive Downeast-style cruising vessels. Our hand-built boats range from a 17-foot skiff, to center consoles and cruising vessels up to 32 feet in length. We provide refits, repower, refurbishing, repairs, restoration, maintenance, custom work, and storage for sail and power boats.

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
