Property Maintenance Worker

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot various systems. You will be responsible for performing maintenance tasks that enhance the functionality, safety, and aesthetics of our environment.

Duties

• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and facilities, ensuring all systems are functioning properly.
• Utilize schematics to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Fabricate and weld components as necessary to repair or enhance existing structures.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff and residents.
• Conduct residential painting and touch-ups to maintain the appearance of facilities.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics.
• Proficiency in welding and fabrication techniques is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with CMMS for tracking maintenance activities.
• Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on communication and teamwork.
• Experience in residential painting is a plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and attention to detail.
