Summary
As a painter with us, you will be responsible for completing duties listed below while maintaining the standards listed above. Income starts at $16/hour for no-experience painters and currently caps at $26/hour for experienced painters.
Applicants are encouraged to communicate where they believe they would land on the pay-range.
Responsibilities
- Prep surfaces for painting via cleaning, patching, drywall-mudding, caulking, sanding, etc.
- Prep areas with plastic, paper and/or drop cloths to ensure client's home stays protected
- Apply paint, stain, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Follow safety protocols
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
- Complete projects within established timelines while maintaining quality standards.
- Keep work areas clean and organized throughout the duration of each project (super important to our clients)
- Moving necessary furniture around in order to paint certain surfaces
- Communicate irregularities in schedule well-before hand, along with being willing to learn and communicate opinions appropriately
Qualifications
- Clean, communicates well, and has personal character
- Ability and willingness to learn. This includes learning our systems so that results can be consistent and repeatable
- Hard work ethic. We are a super chill company, but we grind!
- Desire to grow in the industry - Whether you've never painted before, or you are a 30 year master painter, we require that our team always has a vision for what they want next. Complacency is when we all lose.
- Work history provided, along with references
- Ability to transport themselves. We work in the Northville radius and the Royal Oak Radius
