This position focuses on working closely with the sales team, customer service, warehouse and general manager to support Aerocoat’s growth objectives. This position will also encompass sales responsibilities within the tri-state area, providing opportunities to foster client relationships and drive business growth in the region. Requirements:Key Responsibilities
- Source, negotiate and purchase various materials within aerospace and military applications. Primarily coatings to various specs.
- Build and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure Aerocoat is receiving the best pricing and quality, while identifying efficient delivery schedules.
- Track and report supplier performance and KPI’s.
- Analyze inventory levels and demand materials to forecast requirements.
- Identify and quickly mitigate potential risk to our supply chain.
- Refine our purchasing and planning processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Work closely with General Manager and Leadership team on weekly key account tag ups.
- Creating and initiating inter store product transfers
- Special projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small team.
- Experience in aerospace or the coatings industry is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or related field equivalent.
- 2 years’ experience
- Deep knowledge of inventory and supply chain management
- Knowledge of WMS preferred.
- Assist with the product database.
- Effectively maintain inventory levels and costs
Physical Requirements
- Sitting, standing, bending, lifting of files and catalogs when needed.
- Computer work will be approximately 70% of your time.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 55 pounds occasionally, able to reach, twist, bend, kneel, climb a ladder while carrying product.
- Candidates must submit to a drug screen and meet acceptable Motor Vehicle Report requirements upon the hiring process.
Other Requirements
Ability to work all scheduled hours as needed. If usage of employee’s own vehicle is required for company business, employee must obtain appropriate insurance per Company Policy. Employee must be licensed and able to operate vehicle in accordance with state law including commercial driver’s license if required. Must have acceptable driving record from State Motor Vehicle Bureau.
